About Taranga Hills
Located in the Mehsana district of Gujarat, India, Taranga Hills is a historic and spiritual destination about 128 km north of Ahmedabad and 20 km from Vadnagar. Featured in many Taranga Hills travel guides, this scenic site is known for its ancient temples, cultural heritage, and rewarding Taranga Hills trek. The hills hold great significance for both Buddhists and Jains, with Buddhist monuments dating back to the 4th century and the remarkable 12th-century Jain temple complex. As you trek to the summit, you’ll discover shrines dedicated to Goddess Taranamata, along with natural caves showcasing weathered terracotta Buddha figures and carved stone images of the Dhyani Buddha, reflecting the rich Taranga Hills history and pilgrimage heritage.

- Reporting time at Ahmedabad will be 05:00 AM
- Departure from Ahmedabad: 05:30 AM
- To reach campsite & Take Breakfast around 08:30 AM
- After breakfast, trekking, rappelling, and climbing
- After lunch, team games & an introductory session
- Evening trek to Siddhshila and jogida ni gufa
- Back and return journey to Ahmedabad
- Bus will reach Ahmedabad at around 10:30 PM
